Why, What, When and Join the National Open House Day?
October 27th, 2007 5:15 PM

I am fortunate enough to have met a few savvy, passionate and customer centric Realtors at one of the leading online Forum www.Trulia.com  Trulia Century Award

During a few of our interchanges on the national real estate trend and the fact that real estate market is alive and well in may local areas; one of the Realtor got a 'crazy' idea of spearheading a 'National Open House Day' to send a true, positive message to the buyers as well as giving the Realtors and our sellers a special chance to advertise their properties.

Another clever participant suggested November 4th, daylight savings time, as the day for the first annual National Open House Day.

During the next month or so, a couple other talented Realtors in the group, starated to design the website, the logos, the decals, the flyers and Press Release for the event

It was slow at first, a few Realtors from a few states; which stayed the same for quite some time, then it started to catch on; we now have 20+ states and close to 100 Realtors joining the National Open House Day on November 4th.

I just received my company's endorsement on the event. .
